Ivory Coast are a problem for whoever they play in this WC. Not a brilliant side, but they have some serious weapons in their armoury, and they look hungry! Similar to the US and Morocco. Ecuador were unlucky though, just about the better side.

Ivory Coast has done Africa proud, they played good football, passed it around well and used the wings especially via Diamonde and they showed their strength and was very physical. It was a nice blend of physicality and ball playing and a nice finish by Amad. Africa’s first 3 points on the board.
