@MikeBartner Sports are better if you dial back the black and white borders of the fandom you decided when you’re 9. Obviously Rivalries and loyalty exists but a lot of people love sports for the stories and moments and I don’t understand people who can only enjoy the ones for their team

@worldhockeyrpt The AHL should do this for the Calder playoff format. Everyone makes it. Single elimination until the final, or not, either way it would be electric and the league is about development and showcasing your farm and I’d argue this does it best

@OverDrive1050 it’s hard to match the Olympics from a legacy building standpoint but from an event standpoint NHL as a business will do it way better than the IIHF. Primetime start times an the potential of Russia makes it a good bet
