The best thing to happen to the Calgary #Flames was Brad Treliving leaving the organization and replacing him with Craig Conroy.
Conroy has done an excellent job and been a forward thinking, creative GM.

People should not be mad at Rasmus Andersson for not wanting to sign an extension anywhere.
Be mad at the #Flames who once again held on to an asset for too long and didn't get max value for him.
This is yet another example of why the Flames need to be a forward thinking team.

I think the #1 question that @ABDanielleSmith must be asked is, "Teachers have been working without a contract since August 2024. Wouldn't your government be in a stronger bargaining position today if you'd used those 14 months to make real progress on class size and complexity?"

Teachers going on strike is not a case of exercising free speech and association. You exercise your rights of speech and association by forming a union and having that union speak for you during collective bargaining.

Danielle Smith is threatening to use the notwithstanding clause to break the teachers strike forcing them back to work. Constitutionally, each one of us has the right to free speech & association, but DS wants to take these rights away. This is not okay, Alberta!

Teachers want smaller class sizes – that’s why Alberta's government is building 130 schools and this deal would hire 3,000 new teachers. Teachers want support for increasing complex classrooms – this deal would hire 1500 new EAs to support teachers. Lets say yes to that plan.
