Idk why ppl hate chapter 5 it has by far the best dark world in terms of darkners and fleshed out little details

@RyanIsDoStuff to be fair, chapter 4 did at least bring back a general eerie atmosphere to the dark worlds that (while they were fun chapters) 2 and 3 lacked. so i guess gerson being unserious balanced that out

I kinda wish Deltarune's secret bosses felt more like this. After Chapter 3, the bosses don't feel as special. Gerson and Pink are cool, don't get me wrong, but they don't feel "wrong."
Pre-Chapter 4 secret bosses felt "icky." Obviously Toby's work isn't bad, just miss it.

@MarioEmblem_2 i SINCERELY, GENUINELY expected that they WERE playing chapter 1 for no particular reason. i was BAFFLED to see chapter 2 basically shadowdropped at the end (well, yknow. just. "hey its in like 3 or 4 days lol")

@wandydoodles it could very well be that the knight has heavily deviated completely from its role in the prophecy, and ofc ralsei knows the rules of the dark world and everything in the prophecy more or less... but theres *more* to the story than the prophecy, it seems

It's especially creepy because Ralsei treats it as something out of the ordinary that "doesn't make sense". He is "supposed" to know about this but doesn't. Whoever is responsible for his knowledge in the first place also chose to keep out this specific information.

hot take but I enjoy caving in pre-1.18 caves just as much if not moreso then modern caves.
1.0-1.6.4 has some of the best cave generation ever, while 1.7-1.17 has some pretty damn solid terrain gen too
Those noodle caves are just so enjoyable. Never gets old

What if Ralsei has the third shelter
code? Flowery and Roaring Knight(if its Dess) both know all the meta stuff
because they are tied to THE meta area in deltarune by the code knowledge. Who else knows all the meta shit AND is tied to the deltarune symbol? Ralsei

@yomaigaming it is interesting to me the way that the nethers identity has evolved. like it totally USED to be "its just hell lol" but its so much more now. im glad it is. it was boring when it was just Hot Lava and Pigmen

@gameterorits @WitherKing001 Right? Nether is literal hell with the dead and ghosts shooting explisives, we have empty of space and Enderman in the end. A Lovecraftian dimension would fit perfectly as the third uncanny dimension.
