@jasonpjason right like i make tons of little decisions to minimize the "will this fuck me over after i forget how this code works and then have to change something" risk. just seems so unlikely a transformer model is good about that

bugs per line of code will remain constant no matter what, debugging time will still dominate coding time by 10x. i code with AI but it’s not a 2x win on a lengthy project.
