Toyota Technical Education Program ( T-TEP) is inaugurated at KIIT Polytechnic.

Heartiest congratulations to Ms Sadhvi Satish Sail of Goa on being crowned Femina Miss India World 2026 at the Grand Finale of KIIT Presents 61st Femina Miss India 2026, held at KIIT today. My congratulations also to Ms Rajnandini Pawar of Maharashtra, 1st Runner-Up, and Ms Sree Advaita G of Uniona Territory, 2nd Runner-Up. It was a matter of pride for all of us that this prestigious national event was held in Odisha for the first time, and at the KIIT campus. For the last few days, the participants and officials had been with us and experienced KIIT, KISS and the rich culture of Odisha closely. Today, seeing this beautiful journey come to its grand conclusion gave me much happiness. I thank everyone who worked day and night and helped conduct the entire programme smoothly and gracefully. My sincere thanks to The Times Group, Femina, all officials, participants, guests, students, staff, volunteers and the entire KIIT and KISS family. Everything was completed very smoothly, and that gave me happiness.

KIIT Polytechnic conducted the Project Expo "KREATIONS-2026" on 17/04/2026.Final year students actively engaged in designing, analyzing and presenting their projects showcasing practical knowledge & commitment to fostering innovations and technical excellence.

I feel very happy to see our KIIT & KISS children perform so well at the All-India Inter-University Rugby Championship 2026. Our KIIT Women’s Team has won the Gold Medal, and the KIIT Men’s Team has secured the Silver Medal. Their effort, discipline and teamwork have brought happiness to all of us. It is also a matter of happiness that both KIIT and KISS Men’s and Women’s teams have qualified for the upcoming Khelo India University Games. This shows how our children are growing steadily in sports with confidence and belief. Through my efforts, I have always tried to give them an environment where they can learn, play and grow together. When they perform like this, it gives me quiet happiness. My blessings are always with them. I wish all our players the very best for the upcoming games.

Happy to welcome Smt. Sunita Agrawal Ji, Vice-Chairperson of the Motilal Oswal Foundation, to the KIIT & KISS campus. She spent time with our children and visited our facilities with great warmth and simplicity. I am happy that she appreciated the efforts of KIIT & KISS and shared her kind thoughts. Deeply grateful to the Motilal Oswal Foundation for their continued support in strengthening KISS, especially in Balangir. Their commitment towards education, agriculture and social development is truly inspiring. My sincere thanks to them for their support and goodwill.

Glad to share . A group of 1st year students of KIIT Polytechnic got 2nd Prize in a mega event Criar (bridge competition) conducted by Megalith, IIT, KGP. In another event, Abheek Kumar ,1st year got prize in quiz contest coducted by Megalith, IIT KGP & Elegant Steel.

Happy to welcome the delegation from the University of Washington Bothell to the KIIT & KISS campus as part of the IndiaTrek programme. The programme has brought 2 faculty members and 8 students, who are spending time on our campus as part of a project-based, credit-bearing international mobility initiative. During their stay, they are engaging in institutional interactions, industry visits and collaborative activities, which help them understand India’s innovation ecosystem, business environment and different ways of learning. Over the years, more than 1000 students and faculty members from different countries have visited KIIT & KISS under the IndiaTrek programme, and it is always good to see this continued engagement. I wish them a meaningful and enriching stay at KIIT and KISS.

Happy to inaugurate the 26th Youth National Volleyball Championship 2025–26 (Men & Women) at the Biju Patnaik Multipurpose Indoor Stadium, KIIT. It is encouraging to see young volleyball players from across India gathering here with enthusiasm and sporting spirit. This championship, jointly organised by the Odisha Volleyball Association and KIIT under the aegis of the Volleyball Federation of India, has brought together 26 boys’ teams & 24 girls’ teams, along with nearly 1,200 players, officials and technical delegates from across the country. For the first time, matches are being played simultaneously on 6 indoor courts under one roof, creating a vibrant competitive environment for young athletes. After the successful hosting of the FIVB Volleyball Beach Pro Tour Challenge 2026 earlier this month, this championship is another important step in encouraging volleyball and supporting young talent. I sincerely hope that this platform will inspire many promising players who will represent India in the future. My best wishes to all the participating teams for a wonderful and memorable championship.

Happy to meet the leadership of the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI), including the Presidents and Secretaries representing 30 states across the country, who had gathered at KIIT during the 26th Youth National Volleyball Championship 2026. Our interaction gave us an opportunity to reflect on the recent volleyball events hosted at KIIT — the FIVB Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge, the Volleyball Festival, and the ongoing Youth National Championship — which were conducted successfully with the participation and support of many stakeholders of Indian volleyball. I am happy that the VFI leadership appreciated the efforts made by the KIIT and KISS teams in organising these events. I also took this opportunity to thank the members of the Volleyball Federation of India for the trust they have shown in me by recently choosing me unanimously as the Chief Patron of VFI during their Annual General Body meeting. Having earlier served the federation as President from 2020 to 2024, I remain committed to supporting the growth of volleyball in our country. Our discussions focused on how we can further promote volleyball in India and create more opportunities for young players across the nation. I wish the federation and all its members the very best in their continued efforts to strengthen the sport.
