@travelonthereg It got better as I got older (from child/teen years) and I had a bit of a reprieve but it came back with a vengence on my last flight… so, maybe?

@krasf @travelexx conversely, in midsummer, in Glasgow, I found it weird to see the sun *still in the sky* when I left the pub at 10pm.

Never been quite as seasonally depressed as when I was working through a London winter. No sun before getting to the office, no sun after leaving for the day. Brutal.

@travelexx I feel bad for people who’ve lived there all their lives but I guess it’s just normal for them.

After almost 48hours of no sleep (14.5hrs of flying with the first of 2 flights taking off at 11pm), I forced myself to stay up until 7pm GMT, slept for 12hrs and now feel glorious. Kylie 1 - jet lag 0. I win again 😏

After my second solo 14 hour flight with a toddler in three weeks, I can confidently say, never again. Everyone can visit me from this second on. Someone invent teleportation.

A little blogging win: This summer I was at 10-12K monthly page views. Just checked yesterday and I'm now at almost 20K! I know those are tiny numbers to some but I'm excited! Now can someone who understands this stuff tell me how to find out where the increase came from?😅

Customer service phone lines that don’t tell you where you are in the queue or offer a callback are awful. Maybe I’m too American now.
