@jreneebad There’s a lot of research that says that kids exposed to trauma just need ONE supportive person to really improve their odds of either not experiencing PTSD or having less PTSD symptoms. It’s incredible. I’m so sorry for the loss of your Dave - I’m glad he was there for you. ❤️

Honored to congratulate our 2nd Cohort of On the Rise Academy Fellows! They completed their initial training to become teachers. DPSCD is developing our own future teachers! 50% are DPS graduates. One of the many reasons DPSCD is not in the news about a teacher shortage!
