Every AI-built website looks the same. Purple gradient hero. Sparkle emojis. "Sarah Chen" testimonials. Same layout. Vibe coding works for code. It does NOT work for design. I made a free SKILL[dot]md file that fixes this. (works with @claudeai @ChatGPTapp) Like + follow + comment "DESIGN" and I'll DM it to you.

📚 Want free access to my private library of design resources? 👇 After more than two decades working as a product designer, I’ve collected hundreds of amazing design tools, books, and websites. I share individual resources daily, but my full library has always been hidden away. These design gems 💎 are too good to keep to myself, so I'm planning to share them all. ✋ Comment with a raised hand if you’re interested in getting free access to the library once it's completed next week. PS Get notified when I launch the resource library on Product Hunt 👇 lnkd.in/gEzXcG8Y

@pogorskii I have the same laptop but with 16GB RAM, and until I started working with Next, I never had the issue of running out of memory. Now I do😂

Though I have a suspicion that after constantly working with Next.js dev server for 3 months, almost any other stack will be much less powerhungry 😅 256 GB of storage, however, is a pain

@SLNTPLNT I'd love to hear Shark Week once in my life live. That song means a lot to me. Dreamwalker, Antimatter, Panopticon, Till We Have Faces, Psychescape, Northern Fires, XX

@danielcranney With my ever-changing hopsitality rota, weekends mean no difference to me, it's either a day on, or off the day job. Which means, coding today💪

[12/100] Implemented my first Server Action in shape of submitting typed form data, revalidating results, redirecting the user. I've only worked MySQL with PHP before, the fact that I can access the backend with TS is similar, though it feels much better.

[12/100] Implementing a Search feature using useParams as hook and prop as well. Happy to learn about debouncing and not querying the db on every keystroke. Wish I'd have learned this technique much sooner. #100DaysOfCode

So wild to actually stop and think for a second about how radical I‘m changing my career path at 26-27 years old. Sure, many people have done the same, but it’s still wild to me

[10-11/100] Been working through the Next.js docs and building a full-stack project alongside it using #typescript, #postgresql to learn the basics of the framework. Learning lots, I'll use this stack for my next project for sure. #100DaysOfCode

A year after the release of my UI design book @PracticalUi, I've nearly finished the 2nd edition 🥳 The best way to learn is by doing, so I've added a step by step tutorial at the end of each chapter. The example fitness app below was fixed by applying 23 logical rules 👇

Finished my personal website. What do you think? Decided to go with a minimalistic design to reduce the development time. Focused on readability and content instead. Also, it's my first mobile-first project. Will add blog later. Now, it's time to rewrite my CV and start applying again 😅

[8/100 update] Interesting exercises on typing useState. I see the point, but the concept of passing excess properties to functions if the function’s not typed and no errors would show is hard to grasp. Good to be aware and avoid if possible.
