I’ve often felt like I’m not good enough for the role I’m in.
After doing multiple internships and now working full-time as a software developer, I’ve realized something, there are people out there who are more talented, more hardworking, and probably more deserving than me.
I used to wonder… why didn’t they get the opportunity? Why did I?
But the truth is — not everything is in our control. There’s always an element of randomness in life.
What is in our control is how often we show up.
Trying again and again increases our chances, it slowly bends that randomness in our favor.
Timing matters too. When you do the right thing at the right time, things start connecting, and results follow.
So even if you feel you’re not good enough, apply anyway. Try anyway. Show up anyway.
Because sometimes, that one attempt is all it takes.
