There was a shooting this morning at the Dallas @ICEgov Field Office. Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities. The shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound. While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.

@TheAstrosLocker @sosadeep3 Exactly. Even the first round of Space Cowboys we called up to help out is mostly on the IL now. The Dodgers got beat in large part by our second round of AAA players.

@sosadeep3 The Astros could fill a starting rotation and every lineup spot but catcher with their IL. That’s 1/3 of the 22 WS champs starting lineup, 3/5 of this year’s opening day rotation, plus a different 3/5 of last year’s opening day rotation.

You don’t get to spend $2 billion buying every free agent on earth and then complain about injuries to fans of the team with 15 players on the IL (most in MLB). This is especially true when you get beat by Ryan Gusto and Zack Short.

I recently read about man who collects pictures of hitters who had hit walk-off home runs. He said that the reason he did this is because this is how he views us entering heaven. Look at the faces of his teammates waiting to welcome him home. Look at their excitement. They can’t wait to celebrate with him. Look at the fans. Arms raised, big smiles, maybe even hugs for a perfect stranger. Perhaps this is your first holiday season without someone important who is now waiting for you in heaven. Maybe it’s just another one with that big hole in your heart and an empty seat at the table. Either way, I hope you can find encouragement in this picture, what it represented to the man who collected it, and find joy this year. #heaven #hope #joy #grief
