@Jackal004 @krody_ @OatmealDome i disagree. lap 3 always boils down to the same tactic: hold your boost for the shortcut at the very end. Every match at the end the player is forced to make a final cut wotjout getting ran over by someones Truck who was behind. Nah this is the only game that actually does this.

The launch trailer for Sonic Frontiers is one of my favorite Sonic trailers of all time ngl It truly felt like Sonic is back after seeing this for the first time

Having played Sonic Crossworlds a bunch this weekend, man I really wish we could get a game like this or Mario Kart with actually good netcode
I'm so sick of clearly hitting someone on my screen, seeing the hit confirm and they just keep on trucking cuz on their end it missed

thanks to the ring engine I think bagging is still a thing, just slow down on purpose to farm rings in last place and stay with them in the pack and save your best items for defense or try to use the best items at the end as best as possible

@ZachInsomnia I have high hopes for it since Frontiers was made from scratch, and look how much they did in 5 years after scraping 2 concepts before frontiers was even developed, so now they have that base plate to build on now and make a 4-5 star meal with 5 more years of dev time after TFH

@Proto_arts Lvl 4 TD, made the game super stale as everyone was doing the same Wisp Laser over and over again and had no stakes to races as most lvl 4s won in the top placements cause no one can hit them… I would give them till next patch to look into items and learn what the main issues

@Proto_arts I’m sorry but nerfing hit stun is what LC3 was all about and it was fucking AWFUL, Lvl 4 has no risk to it and encourages bagging/soft bagging, nerfing the way it was brings back that risk and reward factor that it brings to the game, if items are bothering… you learn to manage

I don't enjoy the way they're balancing crossworlds at all. They nerfed level 4 without understanding why it was so strong. People used it as a way to circumvent the asinine hitstun in this game. Nerfing the hitstun would have automatically nerfed level 4 and made the game better
