#InnerCitySDC #CityPowerUpdates *Central Substation Substation, Feederboard No1B & 4A:* Further repair work is currently underway on Feederboard 1B, which remains off and continues to affect customers in Rand Dail Mail, Selby Central, Commissioner Street, Selby East, Wemmer West, and Carlton Centre Feederboard No. 3. The team is in the process of isolating the affected section while conducting cleaning and removal of carbon buildup, in preparation for the reconnection of the 11kV B cable. As of Tuesday, 07 April 2026, approximately 85% of the power supply has been restored to customers supplied from Feederboard 4A. In the interim, a breaker is being sourced for replacement to support ongoing restoration efforts. More updates will be communicated as new information becomes available.
