Ending my year today, been on a red streak since October. I set an unrealistic goal for myself at the start of this year but the Schwab ban and shifting markets really hurt those chances. I shouldn't be this disappointed but maybe I'm truly washed. I'll use the remaining two weeks to reset and spend time with family. See you all next year!

Markets started shifting sometime this summer and it feels like it has caught up with most people by now. Almost everyone I know is making way less money or in a drawdown right now. There are insane opportunities weekly but avoiding a blowout feels impossible. Just me?

I will never understand what drives you guys. I mean you have the choice between making a consistent amount of money every day and making some money but intermittently taking insane losses, sometimes entirely outside of your own control. And you never know when they are going to happen, but you know they can happen at any time. Just seems like a horrific way to live life

Agreed. As funny as it sounds I think anime has had the biggest positive impact on my mindset and mental side in order to succeed in trading. The list is long but if I were to mention just one it would be Naruto. Which I just started watching for the 4th time...

@604Rez Sorry to hear man, very relatable. My biggest drawdowns this year were due to very similar emotions/reasons. Trading is too brutal at exploiting any mental vulnerabilities. Hope in time you get another shot🙏
