I stopped caring about The Boys a long time ago and from what I hear, Season 5 is basically just the first episode, the final episode, and everything between that is meandering time wasting that doesn't contribute to the story.
So I'm glad I hopped off when I did.

No disrespect to OP but I think the main reason I struggle to get into any cartoons of the last 10 years is that it feels like every single show is make specifically to be talked about in this infantilizing therapy-speak BlueSky manner.

Back in S1, this felt like a clear critique of corporate America and companies like Amazon. You can almost tell someone upstairs wasn’t happy about that line… and the show gradually shifted into South Park-style chaos.
