If you want the war in Iran to stop, good. We all want that. So put the pressure where it belongs, on the Islamic Republic to unconditionally surrender. The sooner they do, the sooner innocent civilians stop dying. If you are not willing to do that, then shut up.

Imagine explaining to our European ancestors, who lived through the caliphates which brutalised the cities and towns, that we now have this thing called '#Islamophobia where it's ILLEGAL to be frightened of the religion that wants to behead you.

The message boards in the peri/menopause groups I’m a part of are not for the faint of heart. Everyone is in some kind of profound discomfort and the fear of the unknown makes it all worse. We continue to FAIL women by promoting the narrative that “it’s just something we all need to get through” - we need MORE support and better awareness and HOLISTIC healthcare.
