I just took my teenager to get their first ID card, and @WA_DOL is clearly on a mission to disprove every DMV joke ever told. It was fast, efficient and very friendly, and the website/text/ticket number integration is flawless. Other states should be asking Washington for tips.

@asymmetricinfo It's what happens when one team quits playing by the decency rules. Eventually even the decent people on the other side start playing dirty, because injustice is worse than indecency. You already know this.
English

@merlinofchaos @chx ok, but you have to admit a merge request on d.o is not the same experience as a pull request on the average github project, and the interface is now a little rougher around the edges than it used to be.
English

@chx 3 of the 4 checkboxes are documented right on that page. The one that isn't seems pretty straightforward to me.
I also know you've done Pull Requests on github before, a merge request is the exact same thing. So this isn't actually new to you...

In a rather surprising turn of events, I no longer know how to contribute to Drupal core. Most checkboxes and the description field is undocumented on drupal.org/docs/develop/g…
It sure was easier to just upload a patch file.

@Spicy_Chai4u @Lucy_Webster_ yeah I saw that convo, and all of you who were criticizing the disabled woman who would like to get the goods and services she paid for were not covering yourselves in glory

@ShavonTerrell @sjs856 @LebronLayne In my state (WA) homebound school services are only for children who are expected to come back to school (they’ve broken a leg, or whatever). Kids with chronic incurable conditions can’t use those services. Either they get homeschooled or they don’t get educated. It’s not right.

@_F_B_G_ @GeorgeA99088421 @ChurchTimes Which part is new? Because they’ve been collecting and indexing records, and performing baptisms for the dead, longer than any of us has been alive.
English

@GeorgeA99088421 @ChurchTimes No it is new actually. Part of a Mormon conspiracy.
English

In very normal news, have just learned from @ChurchTimes reporting of the Archdeacon of Blackburn’s speech at Synod that the Mormons are, er, trying to buy up graveyard data from the CofE so they can baptise the dead.

English

@tbfspace @_F_B_G_ @ChurchTimes Why would they need rebaptism? Even to Mormons, the status of a person who’s baptized for the dead doesn’t change unless the person chooses to accept the proxy baptism done on their behalf. And to the rest of us, isn’t it just a bunch of Mormons standing around saying words?
