Happy Hispanic Heritage month everyone!!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Time Capsule General Body Meeting yesterday! We hope you enjoyed making gifts and letters for the future generations of Kstate Latine students! The Time Capsule will be opened in 10 years! #SiSePuede

Tomorrow from 6-7 pm we will be making a time capsule in order for future generations to be able to look back in time and see how the university and organization has changed in the span of time! Please bring any items you think would like to put in the capsule! #sisepuede

HALO will table next week to accept donations to create empowerment kits for a Women’s Shelter. We will also accept kind donations via Venmo/Cashapp. We also need students to help table, if you’re interested check the link in our bio.💜

For Multicultural Scholars Day, Sofia, (HALO President), Brenda (HALO Intern), and Isaac (BSU President) were able to greet students as they arrived on campus, assist with questions during a Q&A panel, and provided tours of the MFMSC! ✨Go Cats! #sisepuede

Who will be your familia? ✨ HALO implemented new mentoring program called “Familias”, inspired by AASU’s families! First & second year students will be paired with an upperclassmen so families can support one another not just academically, but socially and culturally as well!

HALO invites you to join us for our History Archives meeting next Tuesday at 6 PM in partnership with University Special Collections and Archives. We will have donated archives displayed for members to view and learn more about our organizations history. (Continued)
