My lab will continue to use a range of approaches to study the evolution and genetic basis of social insect 🐜🐝 traits from queen-worker dimorphism to collective behavior. We’ll be looking for excited PhD and undergrad students as well as postdocs to join us!

So happy to be so warmly welcomed to the #protistology community at the ECOP-ISOP meeting in Vienna and to present my results on long read amplicon sequencing of termite gut microbiomes! I recovered 240 protist OTUs from 30 host species spanning protist-dependent termites!
