Last Monday was my last day at Deno.
It was a privilege to work with such talented colleagues.
The standard library has been my passion for years. I've reviewed all PRs since 2023 and learned a lot from them. Proud to see it often mentioned as one of the best parts of Deno.

I'm going to take some time to rest.
I'm thinking of finding a Japan-based role. The time zone differences with the EU and the US were always a challenge while at Deno. I also miss working in a real office after being fully remote for over five years!

Prof. Donald Knuth opened his new paper with "Shock! Shock!" Claude Opus 4.6 had just solved an open problem he'd been working on for weeks — a graph decomposition conjecture from The Art of Computer Programming. He named the paper "Claude's Cycles." 31 explorations. ~1 hour. Knuth read the output, wrote the formal proof, and closed with: "It seems I'll have to revise my opinions about generative AI one of these days." もう少し正確にいうと、Deploy Classic ではもともと cron が使えていた。新 Deploy になって、KV はサポートされたけど、長らく cron は未サポートのままになっていたのが今回ついに復活しました

これをやっておくと、使う側で await using で受け取れば、その後 body を消費してもしなくてスコープを抜けた時に body を後処理してくれて便利。これに近い仕様が whatwg に入ってくれるととても便利になりそう
