subways are ok, in 1890. but why do you need spend 25 minutes walking or taking a bus to the subway station, then squeeze yourself in between 500 angry smelly tired people who all stare at their phones, walk through long corridors and escalators to and from subway, why do you need to wait half an hour for it to stop at all stations that you don't need but that happen to be on the way to your destination and then repeat the whole thing at your destination? By subway it took you an hour and a half to get from your home to your destination. Now imagine in the morning you hail/reserve your robotaxi ride, may be shared with few other people who are going the same way (who even might go near your same destination, it picks you up directly outside your home. Takes you down via boring tunnels non stop and ramps up directly near your destination drops you off directly at your destonation, robotaxi+boring tunnels does that whole thing for you in 15-20 minutes and it does it for half the price of your subway ticket. Believe in the magic now? 😁
