Busted my ass all week to get our living room painted/redone… and my body is not happy with me at all 😖🤦‍♀️🫠 Really would just love to crawl back into bed for the rest of the day, but there’s way too much for me to still do, so time to caffeinate and get at it, I suppose…

Did a cleanout visit to mom and dad's today. Dad had a Craftsman toolbox sitting in the corner of the garage that we could not find the keys to. I stopped over to see @Jeremyinakron17 's crew at Abra Cadabra Locksmith in Akron. They were able to make a key. Opening it for us was like Geraldo with Capone's Safe. As I suspected, all his best wrenches and handtools were inside that box. This is a great starter kit for my son. Machinist tools.

@Akron90sGamer Yeah, we’re definitely gonna get some estimates soon, lol. Not only do we have 5 holes like that all throughout the first floor, but the ceilings all needs repainted too. I have enough painting to do already and I prefer painting walls and trim, lol.

@ktbear7783 I would recommend finding someone. I remember when my parents had the dining room done. I want to say it was a multi person job. Took several ladders to get the pieces up. May have to do some light fixtures separate.

Patch job?? This is how our electricians left our ceilings and evidently this is pretty standard… 🤷‍♀️😅😅 Good news? Our floor joists are in great shape 😅 And my patch job in the living room has clearly shown me that we’ll be hiring someone to fix our ceilings 🤣🤭🫠
