Sliman was passionate, optimistic, and fearless. Better than most, he knew the line between hard and impossible and he was unwilling to let you settle for less. His stubborn belief in people and what they were capable of built a generation of tough, brilliant trainees.

Absolutely shattered by the loss of one of the strongest forces in my life, @slimanjbensmaia. He was impatient about all the right things, relentless in his pursuit of, not only knowledge, but people. I will forever miss his laugh, banter, music, and mentorship.
