Today #Operaton released 1.0.0-beta-2. This is the first release build with @jreleaser . All relevant changes from #Camunda 7.22 have been adopted. We are further working on dropping support for legacy platforms and modernizing the tech Stack. forum.operaton.org/t/operaton-1-0…

@altherr Much marketing, not much drive behind it so far. Operaton is by far more open and active. They promised to be in synch with C7, but not a single commit yet for that.

@kthoms Use openrewrite to automate most of that. It works really well for such tasks. I use it regularly on our product code.

I‘m honored that I gained now Committer status on project #Operaton 🎉🎁 Currently I‘m investing a huge amount of my spare time, working on build tasks, dependency upgrades and modernizing the #Camunda 7 based code. I’m incrementally upgrading 30k JUnit 4 test cases to JU5.
