The Liverpool reply meme is happening in real life to me. Discussing the Arsenal parade at lunch and a Liverpool fan joined in and said it was the worst thing he’s ever seen. I don’t think it’s a social media thing, they’re wired to be cultists.

Yes - there was a massive amount of litter left by people attending the Arsenal parade. Yes - a lot of amazing Islington Council workers were responsible for the clean-up. Yes - Arsenal have footed the bill for this, which logistically made far more sense than asking people to sling it in already overflowing bins elsewhere over a much larger area on their way home. Yes - the parade also brought a huge amount of money into the local economy. Again - you’re all looking for an issue where there ain’t one.
