SEVENTEEN successfully wrapped up their stadium concert in the Philippines, drawing a total of 840,000 attendees during their world tour. The tour covered 14 cities, and they are now preparing for an encore concert on April 4–5. According to their agency Pledis Entertainment on the 23rd, SEVENTEEN concluded the main run of their “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA” on March 21 at the Philippine Bulacan Sports Stadium. The tour, which began in September last year, was held 29 times across major cities worldwide and recorded a total of 840,000 attendees, including both online and offline audiences. At the final show in the Philippines, SEVENTEEN performed a variety of stages, including the title track “THUNDER” from their 5th full album as well as other songs. Members DK, Seungkwan, and Vernon played instruments, and the encore performance that led into their hit song “Very NICE” drew explosive reactions from local fans. In particular, a large banner written in Korean appeared at the venue, showing the strong bond between the members and their fandom, Carats. After the performance, the members expressed their gratitude to fans. SEVENTEEN said, “When we’re with you, we gain the energy to keep running for a long time,” and added that they will continue to meet fans through various activities, including solo and unit projects. Leader S.Coups also said, “Next time, we’ll come back as all 13 members, so please fill the venue again then.” This world tour was held at major venues in different countries, including BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, the four major domes in Japan, and the National Stadium in Singapore, further elevating SEVENTEEN’s status.
