Christ the King Model Primary School in Uyo is a proper example of what public education look like in Akwa Ibom State.
Rebuilt under Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda and commissioned in May 2024, the school was designed as a model for others to follow.
Key Features & Facilities
The school is designed with state-of-the-art infrastructure intended to bridge the gap between public and private education:
Smart Classrooms: 19 fully furnished classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids, including tablets for students and LCD screens for teachers.
Specialised Labs: A modern ICT Laboratory and a science laboratory to support a technology-driven curriculum.
Library & Resources: A well-stocked library and an administrative block with a modern welcome centre.
Staff Welfare: On-site staff quarters with five units, including a three-bedroom flat for the headmistress and two-bedroom flats for teachers.
Health & Recreation: Includes a school clinic, a fully furnished crèche, a football field, and a children’s playground.
Infrastructure: The compound is fenced with a security post, asphalted internal roads, and a 100-lot car park.

This is the handiwork of DCP Muyiwa Adejobi @Princemoye1 of the @PoliceNG. This is the kind of lawlessness he and his men are perpetrating in Delta state.
Just imagine the kind of country we are in. The same Police that is supposed to protect the citizens is the one now brutalising and extorting them.
There is also an allegation that a hotel owner bailed himself with 400k after Adejobi and his box broke info his hotel and arrested all customers. I hope the Police didn't forget EndSARs and where it started from? I hope the IGP will do something about DCP Adejobi and very fast too.

What economic activities can the city boast of? What is the standard of living of people in Uyo, when compared to those in Abia? What is the employment rate?
