I'm excited to announce that Business 300 has joined the @FightLaughFeast network! Christians must be at the center and circumference of economic ownership. Founding, owning, and developing businesses is good work. Here's to more of it! Get it at PubTV. pubtv.flfnetwork.com/tabs/the-pub/p…

Another way of saying this is you want to lived a unified life. This is part of our image-bearing. God is simple. His attributes are wholly integrated. He is not made up of parts. And so, our life is to reflect a sense of wholeness, integrity, unity, simplicity.
Philip Kulishov@kulphil

Life and work is not to be a balancing act. Rather, it's to be an act of integrity. The word integrity means 'wholeness'. A man of integrity is an undivided man. You want to live an unbalanced life, wholeheartedly.

There's a difference between visionaries and children. That difference is not the presence of ideas.

In my quarterly review template, I have a quote that @crwiley1962 told me on his 60th birthday over some beers a few years back. It directs a lot my planning. "Make sure those who know you best love you most."

Some of my ambitions, most of them, I'll have to get to in the next life. It's going to be a busy afterlife.

Clarity, confidence, and capacity, all come after movement, not before. We move so that we can get clarity, gain confidence, and grow capacity.

A key difference between founders and flounders is movement. Those who make it are moving - maybe it's too fast, maybe it's ugly, maybe it's imperfect, but it's forward.

Whether the playing field is land, the marketplace, war, his own mind, or worship of the Untamable, the man's calling is to step into the danger with head uncovered. Danger is not in spite of the man's calling. It is the calling.

We aspire to be useful, for our skills to grow, and to use them to accomplish good things. We're doing work in line with our created purpose when we're subduing and filling the earth. And if we're giving others the opportunity to be useful, our usefulness overflows.

@kulphil Liking for the spirit of this metaphor, though I enjoy an occasional maple bacon bar.

License to indulge yourself is as far from liberty as bacon from maple bar donuts should be. Please, don't ruin it.

Maybe you're stranded in the snow. Maybe you forgot you wanted to go. Maybe you didn't even know! But you can still get your fiction fix HERE.

It's too late to register for @evangelcs's 10th Annual Raggant Fiction Festival happening tomorrow. It's not too late to be jealous about not going. It's also not too late to start reading fiction. To help you with that, @tohuvabohu and I talk about fiction in All Are Yours. youtu.be/EirRJ3IPZp0?si…

You can't hold onto a metaphor too tightly lest it takes you down with it, like a horse buggy gone wild running off a cliff. Sooner or later you have to say goodbye, as you would to a friend that's overstayed his welcome.

We’re fat because we don’t know how to live in abundance. Plenty is a heavier burden than need.
