@dansinker I’m surprised 6 million people figured out how to even join the Fediverse but, hey, this bias toward curiosity created an interesting timeline for me.

If you’ve moved to the #Fediverse, consider adding your handle to your Twitter bio. The tools we can use to find followers will scrape bios for handles or links to mastodon profiles. If you haven’t moved yet, it’s a lively place ❤️ It reminds me of the original Twitter.

@kirstiecat Mars is a boring wasteland. The ocean moon of Enceladus (Saturn) with its hydrothermal vents is kind of interesting to me.

@2braids Yeah, the UX bums me out. I’ve only tried Mastodon on iOS, though. I wonder if Tusky is better 🤔

@d_feldman I’d say avoid high traffic ones like mastodon.social. I don’t have problems with that one but the idea is to share the load across instances.

@zachleat @nextjs Does @nextjs fully support preact yet? I can’t tell from a quick web search.

4. I’m glad vercel is investing its resources into a proper native-speed successor to webpack (as it should), and that our work on Vite has pushed this to happen. It’ll be interesting to see how it evolves - my hope is it can be made truly framework agnostic, not Next-first.

@jasonlaster11 Way back when we hand rolled React SSR (before Next), we pushed server logs to the browser console to see hydration. It felt quite magical ✨ github.com/willdurand/pin… I think there is better support for server side events now (at least in Chrome). Actual debugging would be nice!

Server component rendering on the edge is the next debugging frontier.
