I just don't agree with the idea that it serves men to accurately link their bad behavior to an ever expanding industry created by men for men, that is viewed by around 90% of them and counting, and is one of the primary weapons used for maintaining male social/sexual dominance

That's the point. The point is that porn can and cannot mean anything you do and do not want it to mean. The government can ban anything under the guise of banning porn and people will cheer because it's 'protecting da kids'. It's vague on purpose to keep people arguing forever.

One thing I’ll say re: porn discourse is that there’s equivocation going on regarding what ‘porn’ means, specifically whether written and drawn works count as porn or not. One family of objections presumes that they do and another doesn’t but they don’t acknowledge it
