I used to hate having to go to the GP when I first got here. Then I realised you can’t see a specialist, get a referral, or access most treatments without going through them first. Your GP isn’t just a doctor , they’re your entire gateway to the healthcare system. Took me a while to stop being frustrated and start learning how it actually works.

My friend had a job interview with the NHS today. She arrived at the reception, said who she was, said who she was here to see, etc. The receptionist picked up the phone, pressed some buttons, said "X is here for you", and asked my friend to take a seat. 30 minutes later, it transpires that the receptionist didn't actually have a number for the manager, so just faked the call. The interview was cancelled because my friend "didn't show up", and the job was awarded to someone else. "Envy of the world"...

It’s striking how quickly funeral-related news spreads online. A single post can move from one platform to another and picked up by blogs, shared across Facebook and Instagram, and even reported by newspapers reaching audiences far beyond its original source within hours. I trust that anyone making claims against me will present verifiable evidence, including details of any alleged fundraiser and where proceeds were sent. In addition, I have hosted over 7 Twitter Spaces focused on educating our community members about life insurance and income protection with @IntelligentBose ( Protection insurance) so that, in time, we can reduce the need for emergency fundraising in times of loss. I do not engage in back-and-forth online disputes. My legal team is already handling this matter, and I am confident that the appropriate UK authorities and the legal process will determine the truth. I also hope that those encouraging defamatory statements will stand by their words when this matter proceeds in court. My personal life is not a public battleground and has no relevance to these claims. Moving forward, I encourage everyone to direct such concerns to the appropriate institutions. Most people who are quick to criticise online would never take a single step to actually help other Nigerians when it matters. I always do my best based on what I know, and I also try to connect people to others who may be better placed to help. Like I’ve said many times before, if you believe someone has wronged you, the proper route is to take it up with the UK authorities. A lot of what we see online is just keyboard activism and clout chasing. I’ve already taken legal steps against someone, and at this point, it’s best left to the courts. I don’t engage in online back-and-forth. The system here is clear, and I’ll let due process take its course.

Some Nigerians in the UK really amaze me. Someone actually called me “The Minister of Death and Burial Affairs” as if loss and grief are something to joke about. Since 2023, I’ve attended over 20 burials of Nigerians here in the UK. These are people who left home seeking a better life, only for death to cut that journey short. I’ve screenshotted your tweet.
