I feel that maybe we're not understanding each other? Most of human history, minus a few minor details, is simply repetition, from what I've observed. You think the Japanese conquest of Japan is somehow different than the American conquest of America... but we've only been in America for 300 years, and you've been in Japan for 4,000 years. Once another 3,700 years have passed, I'm sure the Native Americans will be just as assimilated as the original inhabitants of the Japanese islands.

So, technically not "war," but not within the modern definition of "peace." As for the genetic evidence... obviously the invading tribe will kill the men and take the women of tge tribe they defeat... which is what that genetic evidence is showing you.
