@TheCinesthetic I just happened upon this movie on late night TV ages ago. It's not the type of movie I usually watched (at the time) but it had me rapt with attention.

the genius of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern: watching two characters desperately try to matter in a narrative that doesn’t care about them. Stoppard turns powerlessness into philosophy. Gary Oldman and Tim Roth become metaphors for human insignificance.
