@Damon_Pope23 If it were a one minute line it would be fine. This looks like a run out the clock queue. It's the kind of thing we get rid of with the younger coaches we are developing.

@kurtdivich If the coach is even getting paid (I highly doubt he is making much $ on this camp). It’s a 9 sec video. Everything u said is a hypothetical, prolly not even true. Nonetheless, if u are telling ur kid they shouldn’t have to wait in a 1 minute line, u r the problem, not the coach

22 kids waiting in line to take a layup don't worry though because the guy rebounding the ball played at Duke 🤣 Say what you want about soccer & it's coaching but my son has been playing a little basketball lately & I have noticed the overall youth coaching is so SAD. No formal coaching education from any association. 1 court 75 kids & ZERO development.

@Damon_Pope23 You're missing Mark's point. If it were a one minute delay (or even a little more) it would be fine. But it's not. Instead of having the kids on the ball or competing they are standing inanimate. No lines, no laps, no lectures. This is at least a violation of the lines rule.

@Damon_Pope23 It's strange to me that you assume that this ex college player is doing this out of pure goodness. It looks like a typical commercial camp you see in every sport. Very little development.

@Damon_Pope23 If you're working with kids for the right reasons then good on you. But I highly doubt that this camp is charitable. Looks like the usual 'camp' where kids spend hundreds of dollars to be in the presence of someone with some background in the game. Usually a total waste.

@Damon_Pope23 The problem is that a) the kids aren't engaged and B) the time wasted could be used on development. If you are struggling to get kids perhaps then we need to better train the ones you have. Mark's point I think is that the Coach is getting paid based on his past. Not a volunteer.

@markbdavis11 Don’t see what the problem is? Looks like he’s got an entire gym full of kids learning basketball, that’s honestly amazing. Im grateful to whoever is running this bc I’ve been coaching for over ten years and we’ve never had more trouble getting kids to play than right now

@markbdavis11 I didn't realize that other sports didn't require the same education as we are required to have in soccer. If I add it all up, collectively, I'm over 100 hours from the start of the then E course to get a National D license. And the D was extremely physically challenging.

@FantasyJeanyus I guess if you're limiting it to just stand up Williams' stand-up was nowhere near as remarkable as his dramatic roles. But he could be insanely funny in spontaneous moments on late night tv or interviews. Most of the time Riggle is just a heal, I barely consider him a comedian

@kurtdivich I found Robin Williams stand up spastic and annoying. However he’s funny in movie roles and incredibly great in some dramatic ones.
