I think people neglect to consider that children between the ages of 5-10s were inside for a year+ due to Covid and interaction with the outside world and real people was very limited… also that’s when the screen dependency came into play for most.

I find it odd that almost every Jamaican child in Kingston and St. Andrew has a distinct Jamerican accent (or accident) when they speak. Cable and YouTube…

In Bermuda beaches are ‘Nature Reserves’ so they cannot be privately owned and must have a way for the public to access them freely even if there is a hotel on the beach and it is the governments responsibility to upkeep them. We also respect the beaches enough to clean up

Can someone from one of the islands (Barbados etc) explain to me what a “free beach” means to you? And how do you guys manage to maintain (clean/safe etc) beaches if people are not charged to enter?

Thisss!! my village did their thing. I think I’ve purchased 3 pieces of clothing for my daughter in her first two years and still have brand new clothes up to 3T in the closet 😅

One thing I never had to worry about with both of my boys is having enough clothes before they were born😂 I literally always meet good people during pregnancy that bless me! So thankful!
