O "petal" é a confirmação de que a voz da Ariana Grande tem uma nova assinatura, mais etérea, flutuante, tal como uma névoa. Ela trabalha muito bem nesse registro e sabe que a melancolia cai muito bem nessa sonoridade. Pessoalmente, queria um ou outro momento com mais incisividade, mais vigor. Como um todo, "petal" ficou legalzinho, com ênfase no "inho". Acho que o "eternal sunshine" funcionou melhor para dar personalidade e mostrar a versatilidade da Ariana. Esse, no entanto, ficou um tanto repetitivo pra mim. Não é ruim porque não acho que a Ariana faz um trabalho mais ou menos, ela sabe trabalhar com o que tem e sabe fazer isso muito bem. Acho que ela só me acostumou mal mesmo...
