8 years ago we planted a mango seed infront of our house my mum got from a friend. Today it's bloomed and finally big enough to bear its 1st fruit. I'm reminded of a line from @HamiltonMusical “Legacy. What is a legacy? It’s planting seeds in a garden you never get to see.”

Moral of the story, I am somewhat concerned about whether I have early onset dementia, but mostly excited that I seem to be doing productive work that's been rewarding the future version of me lmao.

Similarly, a few weeks ago, my supervisor flagged an urgent tasking we received but had missed the deadline. It sounded vaguely familiar. Anyway, he went through some email threads only to find I had done the entirety of it weeks prior. 🤣🤣

I had a really strange (but wonderful) moment at work. There was this hefty doc I had been dreading writing but finally put on my big boy pants to tackle. As I started on it, I happened across a SOLID draft I had written 2 months ago. I literally already did it and forgot. 🥰

I understand why people are asked to condemn Hamas when they killed 1,200 people, including 36 children. I can't understand why no one is asked to condemn Israel, which has killed over 58,000 people and 20,000 children. They've killed more than 50 times the civilians as Hamas.
