Your biggest success card on this app is to stay consistent. Are you consistent?

Last two weeks, a cousin of mine came to spend the weekend at my place, I went all out.
Good meals, snacks, everything set. Even made sure there was enough data so we could stream comfortably.
The day they left, I picked up my bag and noticed it felt lighter.
My power bank is missing. Charger is gone. Even small things like toothpaste and tissue are missing. Went into the kitchen and noticed that this person cut a tuber of yam into two halves and left with the other half.
But guess who still gave ‘transport money’ with a smile?
At this point, hosting people is at your own risk.
English

@Adathebeloved Yes he cut yam. I have been wondering when yam was cooked because we didn't cook yam all through his stay. 🤣
English

@DaddyTwinzz 😂😂😂😂it's embarrassing, just make excuses if they want to visit next time

Roby, listen to me carefully.
Mayowa suing you for N100m is the best thing that has happened to you since this story broke.
You have been the emotional one. The one crying on Daddy Freeze’s podcast. The one going to the airport in two cars to pick up a wife who would not even kiss you. The one sending N200k from N500k gigs.
She just shifted the terrain from emotion to la. And in law, what she did has consequences. She remarried in Texas while your Nigerian marriage was legally intact. That is bigamy. Criminal Code Act, Section 370. That is not your allegation. That is a charge.
You do not need to win the defamation case. You need to file a counter. You need to demand the return of every kobo you sent her for 6 years. You need to let your lawyer do what your heart could not.
She opened the door. Walk through it.

First of all, I'm happy she threw your money back at you. So we have our money back. Secondly, your friend is a thief, no white washing that fact. It's not just using ATM card that she can steal from you. If she has your details, she can steal from you.
You didn’t do anything wrong by questioning her behaviour but you should not have given her your ATM card and pin. She can arrange boys to jack you up and rob you - she knows your pin, abi?
She crossed a boundary by checking your balance and taking more than she asked for. Trust is key in any relationship, and it’s not okay for anyone to assume they can just take what they want, especially without permission.
English

My friend asked me to lend her 10k. I tried to transfer from my bank app but it kept reversing. Because I was busy, I gave her my ATM to go withdraw at a POS across the street...
Next thing I received a debit alert of 30k...
She came back smiling and said "babe you get money ooooo.... Abeg na 30k I withdraw.... That's the actual amount I need... I go pay you"
I was infuriated and asked her why she checked my account balance and even withdrew more than she asked for... We had an argument and next thing she threw the entire money on my table and left....
Please did I do anything wrong questioning why she checked my account balance and took more than she asked for???
English

@kweenxta @highburyking1 @onu_slim So do you think traditional marriage isn't legal in court here???
English

@onu_slim @ICEgov @ICEgovERO Bro you just attacked me when I asked if they were married in court,it was an innocent question,I have never supported the woman in question, because for me she really did something really bad,the man was really good to her,I don't want her to win
English

@ICEgov @ICEgovERO there is a Nigerian who faked her marriage for immigration scam. Please track the story. Drag her dark ass to Nigeria…. We are waiting for her. Nonsense should no longer dance on Instagram.

When I lost my husband, my mum advised me to make sure I wore my husband’s clothe and boxers to bed until he was buried. Ofcourse, I was curious so I asked, “Why?”
She replied, “It’s our culture. If you do that, it separates you from him, so when his spirit comes around, he will know you are no longer bound as husband and wife.”
I remember laughing. It didn’t make sense to me. It sounded like one of those old beliefs that people follow without questioning. So, in my mind, I dismissed it.
In those first nights, I wore my usual nightwear. The first night passed. Then the second.
But the third night… was different.
Somewhere in the middle of the night, I slipped into a state that felt too real to be a dream. I became aware—deeply aware—of a presence in the room.
I saw him.
My husband.
He moved toward the bed and gently—but deliberately—squeezed himself into the space between me and the other window who came to keep me company. Slowly, he settled in, backing the woman but facing me, his right arm stretched across me… our familiar sleeping position.
In that moment, my heart was pounding. My mind was racing.
Did he know I knew he was gone?
So many thoughts flooded me at once:
Should I shout?
Should I pray?
Should I wake up?
Or should I stay still?
I lay there, caught between fear, love, and disbelief… until I finally forced myself awake.
The moment I opened my eyes, I didn’t hesitate.
I got up, walked straight to his closet, took one of his T-shirts and his boxers, and put them on 🤣🤣. From that night until he was buried, I followed my mum’s advice—without question.🤔
Since then, I’ve come to accept something I once doubted: there are mysteries in this world that we may never fully understand.
And sometimes, it’s not about explaining them… it’s about respecting them.
I’m curious—have you ever heard of or experienced similar cultural beliefs about the connection between the living and the dead?

Ezinne is a well-known face on The Honest Bunch podcast.
Of all the hosts, she's the most opinionated.
It can really be off-putting if you're new to the show.
For me, it wasn't easy adjusting to her feisty personality.
It took a while.
Although sometimes I still find myself saying, kai! This Ezinne girl dey ment.
She's the one who sets the stage for the tough questions on the show.
That's how she asked Speed Darlington if he's ever been in love.
Akpi obu obere nwa?
Why fall my president's hand?
She looked Sowore in the face and said, "don't you think you act self-righteous."
Okay, the recent bbl debate episode.
Others were discussing the health effects, self-esteem, and confidence.
Ezinne said to the guest doctor, "don't you think the girls on the street want to do it for business?"
She didn't mind the feelings of the two bbl ladies seated across her.
But that's Ezinne for you.
Once it's her turn to speak, just know she'll say something that cuts like a kn!fe.
Woe betide you if you attempt to chip in something in that moment.
She'll hold up her hand and say "please let me land" with a rigid expression.
I learnt she's from Aba.
If so, her agbero behaviour is on brand (ndi Aba no vex).
Inasmuch as I prefer the other hosts with more polished behaviour (Husband Material, Toun and Daddy Freeze), I think Ezinne balances them out.
She's like ogiri.
A smelly ingredient that elevates the soup.
