@MamieParris Texan here... one of the restaurants we used to go to frequently always served butter with the chips and salsa... as a kid I thought it was one or the other... never thought to combine them!!! What is life!!!

Any other Texans out there eat chips with *butter* and salsa? Husband thinks I'm crazy, but I swear that's how it was served at the Mexican restaurant we frequented when I was a kid.
