Even IF they do translations in other languages, jp-eng is eng-jp is clearly their focus and specialty. Out of all people there is no way YOU dont have the ability to figure something out or know someone that does. You may not have control over the planning of the symphony event but your word would make all the difference. This statement is so half-assed and full of excuses.
