Good news for Karachi — another transformative step for the city begins today. Every new day is now marking a brighter, better era for Karachi. Mayor @murtazawahab1 has inaugurated a free electric vehicle charging station, laid the foundation stone of the city’s first-ever Corporation Police Station, and enhanced the Water Corporation’s performance with provision of new operational vehicles. Deputy @SalmanAMurad MD KWSC, City Council Members and other officials were also present on the occasion.

KW&SC adds 20 new suction & jetting vehicles (fleet now 142) under the PKR 630m KWSSIP program, boosting sewer cleaning & monsoon response. New service centers at Karsaz, Sakhi Hassan & SITE/Haroonabad; Police Desk & EV charging station launched.

Work is underway on two flagship projects of KWSC - the CERRI-Centre for Research, Reforms and Innovation, and the Customer Service Centre at Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi. Both facilities are expected to become operational by the end of 2025.
