@MHassanFootball This is unnecessarily reactionary. We love had to cope with a lot of injuries, esp in defence and 3 of our starting backline were brought in this season. We only need better luck with injuries, at least 1 elite centre back & a hardworking, roaming midfielder.

I foresee things staying the same or only getting worse at Real Madrid for at least another four to five years, without the improbable mass exodus that is more imperative than ever. The sporting project hasn't been in a crisis like this in a long time. But commercially, the club will remain relevant by hosting NFL games, Tennis tournaments, and a new Adidas jacket every three months. You win a lot of money by winning the Champions League, but a club like Real Madrid, with TV revenue, etc, also makes a lot of money even if they don't win the Champions League. It's probably hard to accept for younger fans who started following the club around the threepeat. Brace yourselves, the bar has been much lower, and we are much closer to that bar than the threepeat standards right now.

@Bigguyblu @GreatWhiteNueve Messi & Ronaldo in their primes had side kicks who they could combine with/make decoy runs like Marcelo, Dani Alves, Pedro, Benzema, etc. Vini never had these but still played at an unbelievable level for years and helped us to 2 UCLs in 3 years.

Mbappé doesn't have the technical ability of Benzema, but he can somewhat match CR7’s goal numbers. Vinícius' problem is that he thinks he's at the level of CR7. He can't score even one third of CR7's goals, and he doesn't want to accept a secondary role to link up with Mbappé.

@Bigguyblu @GreatWhiteNueve I think they’ve both shown they can work well within a team. Mbappe to his credit, has tried to adapt. He just needs to slow things down a bit at times & not always rely on his explosiveness. I agree with the board that we slight tweaks we can see the best of this team.

@kwubs_ @GreatWhiteNueve that’s true. He’s a true winger type of player but that sadly won’t work for madrid. With mbappe the best way to create an attack is a free flowing and fluid front 3 but vini can’t do that. It sucks but perez has made an incompatible squad

@GreatWhiteNueve Bellingham was getting legitimate Balon d’or shouts after never playing so advanced in his career & Benzema won the Balon d’or. The one constant is Vini.

@GreatWhiteNueve Vini naturally looks to pass before going for goal. His game focuses on laying it up rather than finishing. A striker with elite movement & link up play wins the Balon d’or with him. He’s literarily a cheat code for an elite forward.
