I spoke with 4Batz a few months ago. He recognized that to build a sustainable future in music, he needed to slow down, get his business in order, and develop as an artist. I’m rooting for him.

I been quiet for a minute but I gotta speak on this bro… Lately I been seeing a lot of artists and labels overlook the platforms that genuinely support the culture. Other than myself there are pages out here covering different lanes within the underground every single day, building real communities around artists before labels even tap in. If a platform already proved they can push your music organically, why force it somewhere else? 🤔 The culture should circulate back through the people actually helping build the scene not just pages posting it because there’s a check attached. Too many platforms that are really connected to this music keep getting skipped over while outsiders profit off the aesthetic. Build with the people that understand the culture, not just the trend. 💿
