Holocaust survivor Francine Christophe was born in Paris on August 18, 1933. While attempting to flee the Nazis in 1942, Francine and her mother Marcelle were arrested and eventually deported to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1944. Marcelle kept two small pieces of chocolate for her daughter to use when she was helpless and in need of energy. But, when Hélène, a fellow inmate who was pregnant and emaciated, went into labor, the Christophe ladies gave her the chocolate for strength. Hélène gave birth to a baby girl and both survived. Decades later, Francine organized a conference on the topic of survivors and mental health. When a psychologist from Marseille got on stage, she said she had something for Francine. 30 July 1882 | A Slovak Jewish woman, Margit Popper, was born in Bratislava. She lived in Vienna. She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt Ghetto on 23 October 1944 and murdered in a gas chamber.

30 July 1911 | A Czech Jewish woman, Alice Donathová, was born in Jistebník. She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt Ghetto on 20 January 1943. She did not survive.

30 July 1904 | Dutch Jew, Aaron Swaab, was born in Amsterdam. In January 1943 he was deported from #Westerbork to #Auschwitz. He did not survive.

A woman was forced to carry a baby, missing much of its skull, for months just to bury it. Some women had fatal fetal anomalies and yet were still denied abortions. Some women had their water break too soon and were turned away from hospitals. A 10-year-old rape victim forced to carry a rapist's fetus has to travel out of state for a medical procedure. A teenager begging a court to allow her to have an abortion because she wants to stay in school was told she wasn't mature enough for an abortion. A woman sent home to miscarry delivers a dead baby in a hair salon toilet. Women and girls are fucking suffering. Nothing about this human suffering is pro-life. 30 July 1907 | A Ukrainian, Dmytro Jaciw, was born in Wierczany. A lawyer. In #Auschwitz from 20 July 1942. No. 49727 He perished in the camp on 19 August 1942.

30 July 1908 | A Pole, Michał Pawełek, was born in Żywiec. An accountant. In #Auschwitz from 30 July 1941. No. 19793 He perished in the camp on 31 October 1942.

28 July 1942 | A transport of 1,010 Jews deported from #Westerbork camp in the German-occupied Netherlands arrived at #Auschwitz. SS doctors sent 473 men & 315 women to the camp. The remaining 222 people were murdered in a gas chamber. One of them was Esther Polack. She was 5.

29 July 1899 | A Czech Jewish woman, Hilde Schubert-Blecher, was born in Jablonov. She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt Ghetto on 4 October 1944. She did not survive.
