At KYIC, we believe access to innovation should not be limited. Platforms like this equip young people with the skills and opportunities to solve real-world problems and compete globally.

Following competitive rounds, St. Edwards Secondary School emerged as winners and will represent Sierra Leone at the Global AI for Good Robotics Competition in Geneva in July 2026. The event was graced by the Chief Minister who delivered a keynote address.

The Robotics for Good Youth Challenge – Sierra Leone, organized by the Kamara Yokie Innovation Center (KYIC) in partnership with @MoCTI_SL , & aligned with the @ITU global @AIforGood initiative, successfully concluded at the Bintumani Conference Center in Freetown.
