@papa_linky @ScubaOfficial I have a lot of respect for a lot of hard techno people, some whom are my closest friends in the scene. They were making hard techno when it yielded nothing for them, and experienced lots of dry spells by sticking to their guns. I don’t think this tweet was about them.

@papa_linky @ScubaOfficial When there’s a valid criticism of something that lacks any artistic integrity, not because of differences in musical preferences, but because of incredibly tacky execution and jumping from trend to trend…just dismiss any critique as someone’s inability to have fun?

No one who’s been playing hard techno for last few years should be allowed to rejoin society when the coming collapse of that genre inevitably plays out

@papa_linky @ScubaOfficial Correct, he’s referring to the people who all jumped ship at the exact same time for the sake of staying relevant. If you were listening to Limp Bizkit and Salt-N-Pepa hard techno mashups since you were in middle school, this doesn’t really apply to you.
