100% incorrect. What’s the ref supposed to do to stop this? The most he could do is penalize the top wrestler, in which case he would be signaling to the table and the bottom wrestler still goes for the punch. There’s no indication that this is about to occur that could allow the ref to intervene in time. Totally unrealistic expectation. Also, stop blaming refs for the actions of the wrestlers.

Correct. As an official, there’s not much time between the head shove and the punch to really do much outside of verbal warning. Blowing the whistle does nothing here since the match is over also. And if the official decided to penalize for unsportsmanlike conduct, he would be signaling that to the table the moment the bottom wrestler goes after the other one. It happens pretty fast, and blaming the ref after having the benefit of watching the video is very short-sighted and nonsensical.

@tony914_ @MedigapSeminars @MrPatMineo Correct, ideally he should have stepped between them. That might have been good preventative officiating. You still cannot blame the ref for the actions of the wrestlers.

@MedigapSeminars @MrPatMineo Stop. Utter nonsense to blame the ref for the actions of the wrestlers. There’s no way to know that blowing a whistle for USC would have changed anything.

@MrPatMineo The referee is at fault. He should’ve blown a whistle for unsportsmanlike conduct as soon as the guy pushed his opponents head into the matt. He let it go. The referee is weak.

@MrPatMineo UNR on red for the head push. FMC on blue for the punch. Both are despicable acts.

People need to accept that the Bungie that made the OG Halo games we all loves no longer exists. Bungie as it currently stands (pre layoffs) is the Bungie of failing franchises. You don’t want to save Bungie. You want to save the games you love - but those developers are long gone. Let Bungie die.

Yea this 100%. You Wana see D3? People like @DattosDestiny just shitting on the game and refusing to support it in any capacity turns people away, hurts Bungie, and creates zero chance of D3. Have fun sleeping in that bed you made lmao.
BlameItOnRyen@BlameItOnRyen

Destiny fans might not wanna hear it, but if you really want to see Bungie get a greenlight for Destiny 3 you should maybe support Marathon as opposed to shitting on it and review bombing it.

I puked on a state test as a kid. I was bright. I read books for fun. I played school in the basement during summer break. I loved school. But when the test came I froze. One year I was so nervous I puked on my paper. The school still used it to tell my mom I needed intervention. She told them I was scared, not failing. She fought them. She won. I opted my own kids out of testing when they were in school. The school put my son to work stapling packets. My daughter pulled a book out of her backpack and refused. Now I watch it from the other side. Three and a half weeks of disrupted schedules. I teach Spanish. We don't take a state test. I get all of the chaos and none of the reason for it. I watch kids finish the state test in ten minutes and put their heads down. In September, I lose students from my classes because they failed a diagnostic. They get pulled out of the one class they chose to sit on a laptop doing computerized intervention. We test them again in December. And again in May. We are testing kids. We are not teaching them. Tom Steyer: “I’m totally in favor of trans athletes in high school. When you understand the vulnerability, the stress, the danger of being a trans kid and you understand almost half of them try to commit suicide. The property isnt harmed. There is no physical damage being done. Riot only prevents those specific cheat devices from communicating with the game. Any issues (like needing a Windows reinstall) stem from cheaters’ own BIOS tweaks or the cheat hardware itself. Unplugging the cheat fixes the problem.

They are since under US law that your property is sacrosanct. No company harm your property and that was upheld repeatedly going all the way back to the earliest cases under the Constitution. Current law for this particular thing is written specifically for computers and disabling your hardware. Imagine if you will that your computer is your home and land. The cards and accessories are your outbuildings. Your insurance company says that they can burn down any building that's not up to their standards in order to prevent fraud. It's your fault for having a building that isn't up to the insurance company's standard. Never mind that you have to build your buildings according to government regulations. That's precisely what Riot is doing.

Oh ok so you’re injecting your personal trauma into the discussion. Makes sense why you feel that way then. Your core premise is correct, BTW. No one should justify destruction. But not every destructive outburst means a kid, or even a young adult, is fated to be a future DV offender. Impulse control sometimes takes time and hard lessons to learn how to control.

Keep in mind I have experienced this shit first hand, it started off with throwing around and destroying keyboards and other items. “Oh but I’d never hurt you.” Then the dog started to get hurt when it was acting out. I wasn’t waiting around to see if I was next. That’s just fucking enough. The people in my life who I have seen so easily and casually destroy their shit when time is tough, have all shown very deranged and weird behaviour, to the point their anger was so bad they followed people to their house with road rage when they got cut off. You may excuse it and don’t think it correlates, it does in A LOT of cases. If a parent went around destroying plates and throwing around beer bottles and shit when angry, they’d probably be the type to also destroy gaming stuff too, or be violent in other ways. There’s always a pattern! If it’s a once off in your life and you never did it again, I’m not really talking about you.

The fact some of y’all are defending breaking shit is actually sadddd. I’m not talking about as kids when your hormones are high. That is understandable. Emotional regulation of a toddlers as an adult, and not accepting the notion of therapy is highly problematic and concerning. Arguing it as some exemplary behaviour that deserves defence, as if I’m taking away some right of passage of being a gamer, is fucking weird. If such a small thing flies you off the handle to DESTROY shit, imagine the pattern recognition set and envisaged if other inconveniences were to occur in life. It usually doesn’t just stop there.
GingerPerks // Villain Simp✨@TheGingerPerks

I’m sorry, but I’ve raged quite a bit at games in my time, full blown yelling ginger rage, but I will NEVER and I mean NEVER be capable of having such a lack of a handle on my emotions, that equipment is destroyed. And I will never respect people who do this to their stuff.
