#R10Leaders it seems many in our session today struggle with the balance between who we are as people and the roles we play(brother, son, parent, etc.) and what we do for a living. How do we prioritize and focus on what we do in those capacities?

#R10Leaders set up shop in a different classroom from time to time and let that be your office. Start with the teachers that send in the most referrals for students.

#R10Leaders if I ask the right questions enjundia focus on the needs, those that i work with will be engaged, come up w/ solutions, and will have buy-in since they solved the problem

#R10Leaders focus your time and do what needs to be done rather than being pulled in many different ways by many different people.

#R10Leaders what if I started each day before students get into the building by meeting with teachers to motivate them for the day or week by sharing an inspiring song, poem, quote, story, etc. that would help the teachers get in a mindset that benefits themselves and their kids?

#R10Leaders symptoms indicate the actual problem so don’t treat just the symptoms without knowing what the actual problem is. That is the essence of define the problem in DESIGN Thinking.

#R10Leaders tomorrow when I come into school, I will start at a different place and make myself present to all of the 6th graders who I manage before they have their lunch time.

#R10Leaders write the vision. WRITE IT DOWN AND MAKE IT PLAIN! Make it so clear that your fears become irrelevant

#R10Leaders what do you bring to the table that is necessary to have in education? Answering this question will keep you motivated to do what your job requires.

#R10Leaders do not forget to serve others because you will be served as well. Servant leadership connects one with others.
