o3 saved my butt today. Flying from Denver to Costa Rica with a new longboard, and agent wouldn’t let me check an oversized bag because of a “seasonal embargo” I pulled out ChatGPT and it found tiny small print on United’s site, saying surfboards to Costa Rica are exempt 😎

🚨 Winter has been acquired by @crossmint! I started Winter back in 2022. I knew crypto was hard to use. But I also knew more people wanted to get into crypto. (My mom asking me about “bitcoins” was a funny experience). Back then, crypto and NFTs were still nascent, hard to use, and confusing. Companies like Coinbase were solving the buying of tokens part but no one was really solving buying of NFTs. That’s where Winter (and Crossmint) came in. I’ve been in touch with the Crossmint team and know all the great work they’ve done. We were tackling a lot of the same problems. After a while, we realized we could move 10x faster by combining. By joining forces to help some of the best companies move forward. @mdharrisnyc Seems quite high - unfortunately may be bad actors gaming the system. Hopefully that’s not the case but has happened to a few neobanks, especially when cash rewards are involved

Has anyone heard of a neobank having a 33% referral rate on acquisition? One of my portcos had to SHUT OFF referrals because they literally had too many coming in for their team to service. Trying to figure out how novel this is =)
