@kylepulver I had a PC named Singe. He was a monk/druid, who specialized in Dex and fire. Because Singe is both an English word for burnt, and the French word for monkey.

playin' a pistolero gunslinger in another #pathfinder2e mini adventure in a party of all gunslingers and boy howdy is it a blast. she goes by the name "singe" (but i can't say why because she hasn't done her wombo combo in game yet and i can't risk spoiling it for my fellow PCs)

logging on to say the new secrets of magic book for #pathfinder2e is incredible what the heck. there is enough stuff in here to fuel like 7 different campaigns. also there is now a spell that replicates the sensation of logging on to twitter.

@aaroninoj they are recolored by magic (as in literally using a spell in the game to recolor her items based on her current outfit)

maybe some social media design started with good intent, but in turning engagement into profit, all good intention is replaced by dark patterns. our reward pathways are hijacked and rewritten, creating ultimately what are chemical addictions to destructive behavior patterns. oof

taking a big break from twitter (and other apps that are ceaseless feeds of novelty) has had an enormously positive impact on my health. the 0.1% of good vibes in trauma hurricanes isn't nearly enough to mitigate the damage that the current forms of social media facilitate.
